Canon 5D2 full-frame digital capture with 21mm Distagon.

Even when working with a wide-angle lens, I try to avoid the temptation simply to try and get it all in. I find that the suggestion of what lies beyond the edges of the frame is often stronger than a more literal interpretation. So it was with this image of Whitchurch Common, taken from high above on Cox Tor. I deliberately excluded most of the wider landscape, filling the frame with this rocky outcrop. The rest is left to the imagination.
