I am often struck by the symmetry that occurs in natural landforms. Here at Staple Tor I love the way the shapes of the middle tors are repeated one behind the other. Finding just the right position to show this in a single photograph is not easy. Having found my spot, I watched and photographed for an hour or more as the clouds wheeled overhead and the rich light of winter wrought its magic.
