A receding tide at Sandymouth in North Cornwall exposes the rocks and pebbles that punctuate the sandy foreshore. The stormy weather conditions suggested a black and white treatment in my mind and, during post-processing, it was obvious that the composition, with its strong leading lines and contrasting tones and shapes, was stronger without colour.
